I'm so sorry nobody has answered you yet. I'll give you my thoughts, although I do not know how valuable they are, as I usually can not effort to buy something.
But uh... I kinda love what you're already doing. I mean... it's the reason I'm following your art =)

And to answer you question in a more direct way; If I get to buy something, I highly prefer pieces in nature: Inside of forests, at lakes or rivers, overgrown ruins, or even jungles - as a personal favourit.
And I also love to see topics that are dark & moody.
