Heya.
Just wanted to let everyone know here that I created a SubscribeStar account as an option to Patreon.

There has been some weird things with Patreon now and then, like the latest payment issues when they changed payment partner, which makes me feel I could go with an option, and a backup in case Patreon decide to do some other major changes some day. Also some people prefer one website over the other, so why not?
but yeah I will post the same things over on SubscribeStar as I do on Patreon, so if you have an account already on Patreon there really is no need to join the other one. ^^
Well only thing on new place is I wanted it more simple when I post so I have two tiers, one for work in progress, final images and extras, and one for extra support and workfiles.

Subscribestar is much better. Patreon pulls random BS moves one after the other. There's no consistency there.

I have little knowledge of SubscribeStar, but it seemed very close to patreon in how to use, so I figured it would be easy enough for me to manage both. And having it an option for people. ^^

I've been using Subscribestar for several years. Never had any issues at all. It's very simple to use.

This makes sense to do, after all subscribestar was built after patreon tried to go all puritan and banned a bunch of artists. Almost exclusively the NSFW artists who built them of course, seems a trend for these bigger companies to backstab their customer base these days. Of course there were other bans as well like independent news networks, comedy shows or game devs and the like but they were not as profitable as the sheer number of artists they banned. Paypal is allegedly doing the same these days too, silicon valley am i right? Anyways, not being locked to one place is a good thing as one never knows when a primary source can come down.

Patreon has so far worked good for me, so i'm not trying to get away from it, but yeah like you say things change and maybe in future I have to look for other places than subscribestar even. ^^;
