Can't really do anything unless the public outcry becomes enough for FA to ban them since they historically don't rule on things outside of the site... except for when Aerys got outed.

Not sure what will happen here but Aerys' revealed bigotry came at a really charged time and some of those posts were incandescently hot takes. I don't know if it'll happen here like that but wouldn't fault the admins if it does.

I'm sometimes worried that I see someone making nice art and like it without knowing what kind of person is really behind it while everyone else seemingly does, because am fairly inactive in socially crowded places like Twitter. I couldn't agree more with you though and thank you for shining some light on these people that I've seen around.

I have been having very similar trust issues for awhile now. I feel like I can't like kink art among even artists I already watch and trust despite barely knowing them personally. If an artist with such an innocent presentation as LLD can be a nazi, than who knows what other artists are like. I can't stand the not knowing and the wanting to simply enjoy kink art feels like a needless risk.

Is more of a low-key worry for me and I honestly believe that most people are good people or at least alright ones. It held mostly true through my life, so there is no reason for me to distrust or incriminate anyone without solid reason, even though the usual rational carefulness with strangers still applies of course.
However I somehow miss out on information everyone else seems to know quite frequently, since I don't really read social media stuff and such, which can lead to embarrassing situations.

Thank you so much for speaking up on this, I wasn't aware of any of it. It's heart breaking on one to see just... I can't even put into words the vitriolic hate on display. While their art might have been delightful, knowing what's behind the creators... I don't want to be -anywhere- near that.

The op and a few others have claimed that when confronted with this info, publicly and privately, the artists doubled down on their stances. There has also been a few people tell me that they saw some supporting behavior that makes them believe these screenshots are real. I'm not a journalist so if it can be proven that they are fake, I'd like to see it, but even from the outside, I'm seeing behavior that makes me inclined to believe it. They're ignoring it, deleting comments about it and blocking people that bring it up- if you were framed over something like this, I think there'd be a public plea to ignore the false information and some effort to assert it's not true... and that's not happening.

They definitely aren't making themselves look any less guilty the way its going, which definitely has me more inclined to believe those screenshots are true than not.

Not being a twittter user, I cannot see the things you linked too. going by the comments here, those individuals named are not folks I know offhand, or want to know, and if they are only on twitter, am unlikely to find them anyway.

That being said, the label nazi has been so overused in the last few years to label anyone opposed to currently popular political opinions that it has lost much of the sting it once had. that overuse of the epithet and being unable to view the citations myself, I must reserve judgement until I see the conduct myself. Not saying you are incorrect in your conclusions, but I want to see the evidence for myself before deciding.

And the label Nazi is being used a lot these days because their numbers are on the rise. It is a legitimate problem and people trying to undercut its importance like that is not okay. Cancel culture started as people holding other people accountable for bad behavior- sexual violence, racism, etc. Being woke typically means being compassionate to people of color and lgbtq+ people and believing they have human rights. Aka these are things that are really important that are demonized by certain factions that was to dehumanize their opponents. I'm not saying it's the exact same thing, or what you did here, but this sort of thinking, that terms are being overused and not important is incredibly toxic and not okay. It's fine to point out where they are being used incorrectly, but in this case we are talking extremely classic Nazi propaganda type talk. Okay this is just asinine. Our "intolerance" is to say, "hey these people have shitty, harmful views and shouldn't have a platform to spread their ignorance and hate, their intolerance is believing that certain categories of person shouldn't exist. The problems we have with them revolve around beliefs that they could change if they weren't too rooted in hate to consider that they were wrong. The problems they have with the groups they refer to in the linked Twitter post center around personal identity, things that they're born with, things that can't be changed without removing the whole person. I hope it should be clear enough that these are not equivalent.

Sad to hear that LLD is in the same crowd as Arcta9; I’ve chatted with him and he seemed like a genuinely nice, slightly awkward guy with a bit of social anxiety…but otherwise a nice guy. Though, I guess the saying” don’t judge a book by its cover” is true here.

In order to maintain a tolerant society, the society must retain the right to be intolerant of intolerance. Not unique to note, but it's sad to see some of the "pivotal" content in dragging me here was made by hateful, illogical people (also, how does "oh we all think and like things differently in this community" and "community is full of socialist" make a defense?).
Generally, I like to separate art from the artist (i.e, I like Jim Carrey's filmography, but really don't like his health-risking beliefs), but when it gets to the point of outright hatred by the artist -- it makes their content feel much more uncomfortable, and you end up affording them attention. Thanks for bringing this to light for those not present over on that collapsing communication site.

LLD was one of the first artists I got into the community through, and I was disappointed some years ago when I found out just what kind of person he was while in a discord server we were both in. While he never espoused hate on the level seen here in that server, I was not surprised when I saw him in that post.

You see, unlike these right-wing nutjobs, I'm not terminally online as I have an actual life (hence why I haven't posted in a long time). Complaining 24/7 about movies is coming from a position of privilege as most people couldn't care less about the next Disney movie as they're just trying to make ends meet. Many people, including black people, the LGBTQ+ community, and other marginalized groups face discrimination and injustice non-stop, usually by people like  madaroluv2

Speaking about not caring about injustice and the plights of marginalized groups,  madaroluv2 often has artwork of his character usually in a police or prison guard uniform executing prisoners via vore (i.e. their fursona digesting the inmate in a painful manner while they're still alive).

I know you  LemonDeer like digestion and fatal vore, and while that's not my cup of tea as I prefer non-fatal, safe vore, you have your preferences which is fine. But I think we can both agree that having a character execute another via vore (fatal digestion) is going a bit too far given the history of police brutality, mass incarceration, and people who have been wrongfully executed (i.e. murdered) by the state.

I am against police brutality, I am against the death penalty, I am for accountability, and justice, and firmly support black people, the LGBTQ+ community, and other marginalized groups and vow to protect them from people like  madaroluv2

Not surprisingly,  madaroluv2 is an uncritical supporter (i.e. bootlicker for the police) as seen via their journals, and they even went so far as to excuse the murder of George Floyd, claiming that he wasn't an angel. Yep, using the classic trope to justify/excuse police brutality by claiming that the victim wasn't innocent/not a saint. This is just my opinion, but by posting artwork of characters getting executed via Vore without a disclaimer saying "the events here are fictional, I do not support the death penalty, and would never advocate harming people IRL" is just spitting in the face of all who have been unjustly killed by the police. If that doesn't sound authoritarian, then I don't know what will. But then again, he is a Catholic, and apart from the Catholic church being regressive on many issues, they have tons of blood on their hands with one example being the Indian Residential Schools in Canada.

To quote Star Wars, "Only a religious fundamentalist deals in absolutes" as they're incapable of seeing nuance nor critiquing the organization they're in. Their worldview is simple, Cops Good, "Criminals" (i.e. anyone who isn't straight or white) Bad. And that is a dangerous worldview IMO.

Also, with these right-wing nutjobs, they claim that liberals and people of the left are just triggered, SJW snowflakes who are all NPCs, without realizing that they encompass all of the critics (not really because right-wingers can criticize anything honestly) of the "SJWs" because they get just as triggered if not more so that "SJWs" as they all use the same arguments. I've already checked my bootlicker Bingo card with them blaming the victim by claiming that "they weren't innocent." Regardless of that, it doesn't justify the police being judge, jury, and executioners.

 madaroluv2 is right about one thing, people do get mad at him, myself included. But our anger is justified because if people like him are in power, the world is a worse place, especially for marginalized groups.
