It's my birthday! In 2 more years I'll have my full blown mid-life crisis breakdown!
Until that happens, I'm just glad I managed to evade death for one more year.

Even medicated... As a matter of fact, I think I had more nervous breakdowns while on anti-depressants than not.
Not to sound anti-mental health drugs, but I just feel way better off since I stopped taking them, like I'm back in control of my emotions.
Besides I've used them for some 8 years, these things are not made to be used indefinitely and I did a lot of maturing and understanding how to deal with my emotions. The drugs were literally make me feel numb while I was screaming inside. It was quite a nightmarish phase of my life and I feel a lot better now that my emotions are back the way they should be.
As a former psychology student for a year and a half (still read up on papers every now and then, specially those related to Behaviorism, my favorite subject). I can vouch that human brains are indeed FUCKED. But psychology has got to find betterways to treat people that doesn't fuck up the minds of the patients further than what's alweady ailing them.

I'm working to hit the 40's with the right foot and get healthier.
