A living machine fandom question for those of the 'Old Gu...

Why were the living machine lores of the mid/late 2000s to early 2010s almost always had violent relations between humans and machines?

Changed things to the worst erm is absolutely debatable tho
Then again i kinda had a little odd dark idea of the LA race riots of the 90's have a component where Aeros and anthro avians kinda fight eachother over a "bird strike incident".
But that's an interesting idea
Speaking of, would wonder what YOUR progenitor inventor whom made the first living machine in YOUR WORLD would look like.
her work was inspired by Jurassic Park and 80s-90s era slasher horror movies (and just a general vibe of heavy metal >:3 since Concaholic was a metalhead). killer planes became fairly popular throughout the 2000s and 2010s, before kinda dieing down by 2014...but for a while in 2009 and 2010 it seemed like everybody in the LMC had a killer plane character, so yeah...that sort of popularity still has its echoes to this day =D
enough for me to do a tribute pic to the whole "killer airplane" thing a few years ago: https://www.deviantart.com/sharkpla.....pper-353154534
i think they appealed to people because given how humans treat most other things they come into contact with...its not too unreasonable to assume if planes ever suddenly became sentient (and had super deadly talons and sharp teeth) they would probably view humans as enemies and kill them. people love poetic horror like that >:3
... I honestly thought because it was the rise of the emo culture back then XD
I'll be honest I am absolutely glad that trend of killer planes has come to a stop XD
Especially since at the time I was an aspiring pilot so I really see no need why I should be seeing that trend
I want to love planes, not fear them x3
