When life gives you lemons, burn life's house down. Preferrably with life still inside.
...just found my mom's got glioblastoma, a kind of brain tumor which is....incredibly hard to suppress and nearly impossible to fully cure.
Patients who do manage to suppress it have up to 2 years of life left, and that's the best estimate. While I will remain optimistic about the best outcome of her surgery, I am also prepared for the worst, should it come to pass.
