transition
so, it's been some years since my last con. i used to go to them quite often; anime cons, sci-fi/fantasy cons, comic cons.... a little bit of everything. the transition back to real life from MFF has been very odd. we were there long enough to get accustomed to seeing furries everywhere and then we get back to the real world and i really miss having them around. not evern just the fursuiters... just having really nice people around.
i more got accustomed to the random waves, the conversations with new people, and the general friendliness. i find myself missing those aspects more than anything. the odd thing is, i'm not trying to be a downer, it's just that MFF gave me a little sliver of hope that the world isn't as bleak as i've led myself to believe the last few years.

Ditto on that as well! It was rather nice to see a sort of harmony amongst everyone regardless of any common factors that would limit interaction between people any where else. It was a peace I never thought I would see.
