~ Music that Im into ~
did a similar journal awhile back, so I think I'll do one myself.I've never really been into classical music (unless you count the old school Warner Brothers and Tex Avery cartoons) but....
~ Chicago (and when they really got started, as the Chicago Transit Authority)
~ Yes (any and all of their albums are superb)
~ the late and still great Stevie Ray Vaughan (I also recommend his "Family Style" album where his brother Jimmy Vaughan is in it)
~ RUSH because I love Geddy Lee, sue me :p
~ Blood Sweat and Tears: because if you -really- listen to their albums / songs, they were ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT in using jazz / band instrumentals in their music
~ Peter Gabriel and any of his stuffs, and throw in the Talking Heads as well
~ Foghat, Mountain, Steve Winwood and again, anything from Fleetwood Mac during the Peter Green era
~ just found out about the "Backbreakers" (blues band) but you also can't go wrong with any of the ladies of the blues like Beth Hart, Shamekia Copeland or my local hun bun Susan Tedeschi...and yes, I still like the gems from Aretha Franklin, Ella Fitzgerald and even 'Big Mama' Thornton (who Elvis blatantly stole from >_<)
However, in the sake of being open and honest I absolutely loathe/detest/cannot stand Pink Floyd and Neil Young, just UGHHHHHH xd

I had no idea Phil Hartman was a graphic artist, and I'm into album cover art. I swear I learn somethin' new every day.
A child of the 60's, WITH 'Hippy' parents (Who, go figure, were also BOTH military Vets!), I absolutely adore the 60's/70's/early 80's music genres!
Only thing(s) I just can't get into, are 'Opera,' 'Acid/Heavy/Et al Metal,' and 'Rap.' No, sorry, I HAVE tried!!!
Truly, I adore 'Classical.' Notes, melody, that incites emotion(s)... :: SWOONS ::
