I'm saying it now- The 'America' our Founding Fathers and all those who participated in creating, is dead. It actually died quite some time ago, but like that proverbial 'Death by a thousand cuts' (Or, boiling a frog concept), we allowed things to degenerate to where it is today.

Let's put it this way, Trump says a lot on a day, but little of it is thought through, if a thought is wasted.
But there are some things they should listen to what is said. Even if he doesn't follow through with it, he practically said that he wants to annex an allied country and a part of another allied country, the latter being a part of the EU with no regard to what the people there want.

Just saying it makes it clear that he cares neither for people, nor for democratic institutions.
And anyone thinking that another trade war will benefit the USA, I have a big business opportunity to offer selling fridges in Siberia, the Antarctic and the North Pole.

Well Trump is completely ignoring that Canada is itself a federalistic state - so even if, then all the Canadian states needed to become US-states (Quebec, Nova Scotia, New Foundland, BC etc.)

AND he also ignores, that the King of UK is also basically "in charge" too, even if just for the commonwealth.

Scholz actually made a clear statement too about this, after talking to the other heads of the EU-states. We're just seeing in Europe that someone is trying to ignore boundaries and "invade" and"occupy" parts which haven't been theirs.

In fact once the Selbstbestimmungsgesetz was out, the right-winged, even the CDU/CSU people (who are the "christian folks party" basically) claimed that now men would get into women WCs/Toilets, claim they'd identify as "female" and then rape the women.

They believe "back in the old days it was clear, just 2 genders: male and female" and they act like: "If we go back to that, the problem is solved easily."

Yeah the bathroom debacle is ridiculous, and they all forget about trans men. There is NO WAY i can go in a women's washroom without anyone screaming. There's no "trans women will rape women in bathrooms" issues and it just seems like a fake thing to get people riled about. It's so frustrating.

As for the 2 genders thing- i forget sometimes that people still cling to grade school biology 😂 when I mention being intersex and not fitting in their binary boxes, they either block me or say i don't count cause i'm a freak.

Funningly enough, in economy we are using the same term: "Transition" - but the problem is: in the future work models won't look like that what we are used to now and we will clearly need something like a "basic dole" because many people won't be working full-time or in a long-term-contract anymore.
