Makes one feel more older than ever to even look at those. 😅 I've seen this site vaguely on multiple occasions, but that's before my adult years and the military life in the o'10s. Man. Seeing how far this has gone. I'm surprised to see it's evolved... Eh... Somewhat. 😆 but... Majority of the art I saw and now either forgot the name of the artists and pieces or just up and disappeared from existence. Wish I can go back see and remember maybe even save some memorable pieces before they were gone.

Always interesting to see how things change over the years. I barely remember seeing this site when I was younger, managing to see some adult stuff lol. It felt like a different place. And deviantart was definitely for sure haha!

Eeyup. Unlike here tho, DA was manageable and not flimsy with the notification buttons being shared by watchers and old content waiting to be deleted.

It can be jarring to look at entries... commissions... and they seem like "not that long ago" and yet... it was HOW FAR BACK?

Not even just cons that are no more, but some of the folks who ran them are "no longer with us" as the euphemism goes.

Exactly! Like it's almost like a punch to face how old some the pieces are! It's a crazy feeling.
And it really hurts when folks are truly gone. Cannot see them or any of their work ever again. Passed on. That especially hurts. I've found plenty of artists and writers and musicians on this site only to find that they are no longer with us.
