Laptop Monitor Issues

General
I woke up and my computer restarted itself, and the bottom half of the monitor/screen was flickering & black. FML.
It might have something to do with the latest NVidia driver update. Trying to sort it out. Fuck me, between getting ghosted from the job I was applying for (I guess sending another automated e-mail, this one saying I didn't get the job was just too damn much) and this crap, I really picked a bad week to quit coffee/caffeine. :(
Might just try uninstalling the driver to see what happens. Fuggin' hell, Windows 11. X_x
Update: At the moment, after reinstalling the driver (via the express, not custom option) and restarting, that seems to have quelled the problem...for now. :/
Blah, what a way to wake up. ;_;
Update 2: it seems that didn't help much. But lowering the refresh rate from 144Hz down to 60Gz did the trick, along with turning off the graphical bells and whistles. @_@

I'm firmly convinced that the entire technology/software/hardware world is fucked via IP bullshit and other statist invention in the markets. @_@
Oh well, for now, I have a (somewhat) working solution, so I'm dealing with it best I can. *snugs his hubby wolfy*
