FIREFOXES ARE NOT LITERALLY, "FOXES ON FIRE", AND I'M NOT A BEAR!!
Remember- International Red Panda Day is the 3rd Saturday of September.
Visit: http://redpandanetwork.org/get-invo.....red-panda-day/ for more info.A note: I will be migrating to personal journaling on Weasyl. I will post on FA, news and references more often.
If interested on my thoughts, desires and plans, go to my account there: https://www.weasyl.com/~excelsior30
( Related Journal: https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/11212492/ )
...and you want to make your journal pop? go here:
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/55619625/ Here is a minor update on the Art Reference Journals I have been doing. For this one, there is a way to do eyes-but it is a way to add special effects.
Traditional Art:

Magicalzombie's journal about watercoloring (advice): http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/4164597/
>>>>>From
glowfox on using colored pencil to do solid color (There are important links to see too): http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/4127386/
Digtital Art:
>>>>>From
Anuvia who has a youTube channel. She had posted two links to what to do when you use SAI and Photoshop (Note that she uses CS2.)
Shading: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K5LU6PVAKGQ
Saving and coloring your lineart lines: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HofOJVXTtWY
>>>>> From
TamerKoh on how to make your drawings in high-resolution: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/11587705/ (I am guessing that if you are going to shade and lighten your characters and scenery, you will have to do it AFTER you enlarge and add base color.)
>>>>> From
mrsenpai on how to use SAI to make shading possible: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/13368799/ (NOTE: This is for SAI ONLY.)

TungstenKitten If you are in the beginning to do speedpaint-have NO experience at all and want to do it step-by-step, he has posted nine photos on how he does his art:

mrsenpai- this is how you do eyes, but go with your instincts on how you want to draw them-this is for near realistic eyes: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/12412517/
NEW! This is another example from the artist, but this time, you can add luminosity and glowy effects that will make your eyes amazing....: http://www.furaffinity.net/full/14011140/ It does not have to be digital.
(Of course, you can use their ways in drawing and add variation to eyes, hands and feet, but experiment and find whatever way is comfortable.)
What is important is that if your draws look too much like a different character or animal than you imagined, referencing is the best thing as
IsabellaPrice is showing you: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/11359770/
...and do look at this site too outside of FurAffinity:
http://thefurryartacademy.tumblr.com/
Lastly, take a look at something positive-persevere---
anuvia says this: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/4621397/
(Sorry OpenCanvas or basic Apple/PC paint [Ex: Windows 7 Paint] users, I STILL don't have any tutorials specifically for you, but stay tuned as more users pop up with their tutorials, I could post another journal soon! Look for "Update #" in the subject header. )
Hope I'm helping you a lot. Thanks for reading!
