Would it be bad if I posted Wesley here? (Weasyl)

FIREFOXES ARE NOT LITERALLY, "FOXES ON FIRE", AND I'M NOT A BEAR!!
Remember- International Red Panda Day is the 3rd Saturday of September.
Visit: http://redpandanetwork.org/get-invo.....red-panda-day/ for more info.A note: I will be migrating to personal journaling on Weasyl. I will post on FA, news and references more often.
If interested on my thoughts, desires and plans, go to my account there: https://www.weasyl.com/~excelsior30
( Related Journal: https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/11212492/ )
...and you want to make your journal pop? go here:
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/55619625/ As it is that I'm starting to be more active on Weasyl (My account: https://www.weasyl.com/~excelsior30 ), I feel that there is not enough love towards the site. The thing here is that despite that they have their own FA account that is dormant:
Weasyl, there is not enough activity. And it does show that there is hardly any art of their mascot, Wesley, the mustelid that changes from white when the season is cold, and brown when it is warm.
I know, and WE know that FA is the most popular site and for the FF'dom,
Fender and
Rednef are the most recognizable- more as there is the Fender fursuit that
Coopertom uses when he acts as the ferrox. It is possibly the oldest site devoted to the FF'dom, but even to my belief, the longest running one after Furnation was taken off the air.
For Weasyl, it is a knockoff but has its quirks that some can make it better, and FA seems to start incoroprating some stuff that Weasyl has to make its site better and safer. Weasyl is so far, a good alternative, and I feel maybe it can go in tandem with FA since it has not been in hostility with its members and outside-- unlike
Inkbunny. ( http://inkbunny.net )
So one can say that some can be happy to see this ermine be in antics and other things that would be deemed acceptable in the FF'dom as the site has not been in a wrong, would you agree? Even though, the site itself hardly has Wesley fanart! Sure, it is that the site is young and lightly used, but I feel that with the tan hand and foot pawed mustelid does have recognition, and really, there would be more to him than just being an ad for Weasyl. So far on the site when you just search for Wesley, you will see just 60 arts there. It pales in comparison to the more than 500 that you would find Fender if you find in 5 years in the serch engine, "ferrox". And Rednef is more than 300 in 5 years. Surprisingly with the search on FA, Wesley appears in 46 submissions in a 5-year period--net difference of 14, which is not too much of a difference! Quite sad- one would expect more of Wesley on HIS OWN SITE MUCH MORE THAN HERE-14 IS TOO CLOSE.
Although, as it is that he is furry of course, I feel that the beret and vest-wearing weasel should have more recognition. Sure, I feel he's cute, but even though I'm on FA more, but steadily depreciating it, I feel Wesley should have more exposure. It doesn't mean that I'm going to break fealty/be a traitor to FA entirely, but somehow, I like this weasel too. He could be rival as being the only purbred species to represent a FF'dom devoted site-something that Fender CAN'T deny as he's hybrid, and Rednef is purely dragon, but is mythical in RL, you know.
So to you, I ask, is it risky that I would ask for commissions or do my own art getting Wesley more exposure, but uploading here on FA too? Yes, 46 arts posted here-keep that in mind...
