These laws take time and it never moves faster than the public or the criminals want it too. trump is a criminal and has a choice of a speedy trial or to let the cards fall where they may. When I could walk I drove my moms car to a McDonald's to get fries and a coke I was only in a shirt and flip flops I did not want to pull over so I drove to my moms house and parked her car in the driveway. Unfortunately UK politics (or maybe politics in all western countries) is full of geriatrics that grew up without the internet or tech that everyone has today, and could scarcely operate a microwave, let alone a smartphone. So it's no surprise they have a complete lack of understanding of technology and the internet, and will just blindly go "PIDOOMA", and that's how we end up with ridiculous, unenforceable legislation.
