I got a job! ...So now what?
Hi all!
So some of you might have noticed that recently, a few more of my posts have been commissioned artwork. Now there's a few reasons for that, for one I was trying to get all the summer pics out on time, then I've also got commissioned twice to make two pleasure sinking sequences after each other, which due to me refusing to post pleasure sinking means I spent my time working on 10 pics I can't use, and the third and most important reason is that for the past 3 months I've been going through a trial period for a job which I have now gotten confirmation from that I'll officially be starting there next month! So horary!
Now, some might be wondering, does this impact my profile here in any way? Well yes it does in a few ways.
First of all, expect me to not draw as many pictures, since I'll of course spend most of my week at work, and the days that I am off I of course don't always wanna spent drawing. In the end, drawing for myself is a hobby that I should only want to do.
However, the new income does also mean I'll be able to get more commissions from other artists, so expect more of those. Of course not many more, I do have other things I wanna spent money on, but I'll probably get more then just Usagiforehead's set every month. Some of the people who read my description might have already realised that I'm now also on Shonuff44's Patreon, but I do have plans for other artists.
Now these things won't be noticeable straight away, I still have a backlog of my own drawings and more will still be made when I feel like it. But also expect that after a few months, uploads might slow down a little due to me not having as many pics as I did before. Again, from commissions alone I have about 20 in my backlog I can post whenever I want, but eventually it might more turn into me posting a picture whenever I want (which will probably stay the weekend lol).
As for my own commissions, I will still take commissions, buuuut, I will limit it to only accepting 1 pic at a time. I have limited time, I don't wanna suddenly draw an entire set of 5 pics as well.
So yeah, TLDR, I have a job, less of my own drawings but more commissions, slightly slowed down uploading speed in a few months and if you want a drawing from me, ask for 1.
I remember first posting Lucia on DA when I was doing my first internship for my studies, and watching her blow up with favourites, comments and even a piece of fan art was a truly amazing feeling. Since then I've done another internship, graduated twice, finetuned Lucia to know what I like and don't like for her, refined old OCs and introduced fun new ones, get to co-own one of my all time favourite OCs (Sharia), meet so many just absolutely fantastic people that I can't thank enough for all the wonderful things they've done for me (You all know who you are and I love you for it), grew my profile to almost 1000 fantastic people on DA and 150 on here who take time out of their day to look at my posts, favorite and comment on them and just be part of this wonderful community. I will forever be grateful to all of you and I'm very enthusiastic to start this next chapter in my life. I hope to expand more on Lucia and what's on her island soon an I hope you'll all continue to support me and look forward to what's to come. In the meantime I'll share some WIPs of Carla and Ingrid designs getting a slight face lift.

As for here, do what you need to do man, we understand. :)
But it's great to know that your art and adventures with Lucia, and all your characters, will continue, she is an amazing character, and was such a great addition to this community, I am so glad that she and my Ember became best friends. :). And I look forward to seeing what you do with the planned face-lifts to your villains.
No worries man. :)
Well of course, I'm not planning to stop any time soon, I do enjoy doing things with her and to see how good of friends she and Ember are :). Oh no worries, I'm sure they'll look better then ever. :)
That is good to hear, and definitely enjoy them doing things together and seeing how good friends they are. :). Oh, no doubt they will. :)
