It was nice to meet old friends and furs there
but..
I remember when the cons used to be about meeting and drawing in rooms, music, art and creativity.
this year it was just unf unf unf on several rooms in the middle of the night.. sending techno beats out into the forest to bother the wildlife (so much for furries caring for animals) and party party , drinking, party, party.
I joined the fandom for the art, for the creativity.
Now it feels like only party, getting laid and drinking.
kinda just any party just with fursuits. Eh.
Post con depression? Actually , the last day we were there I just wanted to go back home.

Some other cons may match to what you're looking for but they're usually much larger ones. Many areas of interests and fetish clubs hang out spaces rather than just unf and drinking party.
Altho dance party always happens in con spaces with DJs and music. It's now norm next to artist-creator hall for galleries/comms/selling products and specific fetish clubs to hang out with friends to mutuals of same interests. All under con space roof.
3 am - screaming, screeching.. UNF UNF UNF UNF .. every night..
and no. they weren't in the con spaces. these were in the rooms of the hotel and outside on the parking lot
Oh yeah, I just realized some of hotels have giant rooms for that served as con. MFF in Chicago is like that.
the people just didn't care and still brought their subwoofers into their rooms and annoyed the others.
I just question the social capacity of many furs after this.. 5 yrs old kids behave better
I never went to con nor intention to due to large crowds that is out of my comfort zone. I mostly travel to visit countries for sight seeing and meeting local fur friends to hangout for past couple years. ^^
Plus whenever someone speaks about how they want more partying, and less lectures/presentations at conventions, my face twists in disgust, because that's the opposite of what I want
