LIFE UPDATE: I found a baby pigeon 🕊

Hey everyone!
So yeah, as it says in the title, I found a sick baby pigeon and decided to try and nurse 'em back to health.
According to the vets they have enteritis and gonna be on medication for at least a month..
They not very good at eating by themselves but otherwise pretty good considering. Not bothered by humans at all (which is not good if I'm to release them, but at least not stressed right now; also I'm considering keeping them). Don't know if it's a boy or a girl so I don't have a name yet. Also I don't wanna name them yet because it's not clear if they survive.

Very nice. Hope you did some research on pigeon care though, I am not sure what needs to happen with pigeons even when they aren’t sick

Oh yeah, I feed a little flock outside my window for 3 years now, and do addittional research of course of what they need for life

You don’t necessarily have to release it either if they pull through completely ya know, if you find yourself attached and already invested in the proper cage and care, pigeons ARE a feral domestic, you can keep them the same as any cat or dog.

Yeah, they make a suprisingly good pets ethier! As I noted it the journal, I am considering keeping them, but I just not sure I'm ready for the commitment, since they can live up to 20 years. I guess I have time to think

As long as you can meet their needs now it’s not something that has to be considered right away! But it IS a possibility to consider if you’re personalities mesh
