Dragons, they are fireproof in many works of culture, so burn them is even better, because it's ironic. Horses are good, they have big butts. Maby something non-obvious like bugs? It's really possible to draw them in cute and anthro style

Not sure about bugs except if it was a very anthro style character who just had a bug theme.
But a dragon character or a horse could be very funny,
maybe a dragon character for a surprise hotbuns moment and a horse for something else like a barber mistake story.

All kinds of types of Characters out there to get inspiration from. Old Warner Bros Toons. Tom & Jerry. And that is just the Classic Stuff!

I really like the possibility of a story or a comic featuring a Dragon character! I have thought of a story idea for a dragon character. How about story where a dragon who has their heat resistance “slowly” taken away through “magic”. Then the dragon gets stuck and someone lights a small fire behind their butt. As the dragon loses their heat resistance the fire begins to burn the dragons BUTT, and drives the them crazy! I think it would also be fun if something happened to their tail as well!

Maybe the Dragon tries to put out the fire with their tail once things start to get too hot for dragons bottom. So then the dragons tail is tied up and lifted out of the way so it can’t cause anymore problems! As for a new type of animal I think a Kangaroo would be fun! Kangaroos have great big butts and they could very easily get stuck!

I do the like idea of a story based around a kangroos pouch, and I though of some suggestions. First what if a small creature like bug or a mouse gets in the kangaroos pouch and starts annoying the kangaroo! The small creature starts does things like biting, stinging, or tickling the inside of the kangaroos pouch, and eventually the kangaroo gets tired of what the creature is doing and then throws it out! But the small creature LIKES annoying the kangaroo and constantly tries to get back in the pouch, and the kangaroo does everything it can to keep them OUT! It could end with the kangaroo getting and unable to stop the creature from getting back in the pouch, or the kangaroo gets tired and gives up. Second idea is that the kangaroo could steal a bunch of stuff, and puts all in their pouch! Unfortunately for kangaroo the stolen items in there pouch are so HEAVY they can’t run or jump, all the they can do is walk. Then someone starts chasing the kangaroo, and the kangaroo ends up stuck! Then the person chasing them starts attacking their butt for stealing all that stuff! Kangaroo’s also have really big tails, would funny if something to their tail as well!

Between the two story ideas I like the first more. I find the idea of a kangaroo being constantly annoyed by a small creature much more funny! As for the design I think it should be a cartoonish design, similar to Kanga. It definitely needs a BIG butt that will end up getting stuck! Maybe the kangaroo should also be kinda fat and out of shape, so they struggle to escape!
