Well I guess the best thing to do is to start of by just stating a few things for those who may decide to keep an eye on me.
I'm a little nervous about starting up here, even though I have been on here for quite some time as a lurker on another account, faving things I like and rarely replying to pictures or rude remarks about "you should tell me why you like the picture(s) you faved." I'll put this out there right now, I fave things that I really like, I rarely will make comment on them; rare ocations that I make a comment usually has to do with the fact that I know the artist from another art site or from an old RP. If neither of those apply to a person I'm replying to it's more than likely because I not only really liked the picture but I loved it/was amazed by it enough to make a comment.
As I think about it though, probably the reason I rarely comment is more due to the fact that I get very wordy, and then you have this half screen coment that runs off in a totally different dirrection by the end.
OK another thing, if you're looking for something in my art beyond PG-13 in the sexual area, you might as well look somewhere else. I'm too embarassed to post much less draw sexual acts. I have done it once or twice but only with one character and I have lost the original sketch of him in the three or four moves I've made in the past five years.
If I ever get brave enough to drawn and post something beyond PG-13, it won't be on this account because I will probably not want Quachir associated with that. I consider my name of Quachir to be something that I'd like young and old to associate with me. I however would not like people under the age of 18 to look for my work and accidently find me with a picture of something they "technicly" should not be seeing till at least their 18th Birthday. I realize there is a Mature rating here to keep them from seeing it, however I don't want to take any chances.
I will not state this other account name here. If I do pictures such as that I might hint at it here but you'll have to come across the upload on my other account.
Let's see... I'm not too sure what all to say now that I've stated the above. I probably won't post to much here, depending on the responce to those things I post. As I said earlier, I'm leery about thing here, in part because I have seen people repost pictures but most recently it has been people reposting things that are made for them by other artists also here on FA.
A breif history I guess, is that I started with my art on the internet with a DeviantArt account under the same name as I am here. I've posted mainly things in different Disney universes, (Gargoyles, The Lion King, and American Dragon: Jake Long) however, I rarely draw canon characters from these animations.
Before DA I did a lot of anime stuff and only recently have gotten back to some of that in trying to draw some Pokemon styled stuff.
Which brings me back to another thought, the way I work to make my pictures. I usually start off with a pencil sketch which I scan at my college's library since I don't own a scanner myself. I transfer the files to my laptop and open the files in Adobe Photoshop 7.0 to finish them. I rarely shade my peices and my backgrounds are usually very very very simple. My proportions are usually off at least a little because I don't care to use modles to help me out unless I really can't figure out how to draw it.
I could probably write pages upon pages about my problems with my peices to warn you what you're getting into but I'll let you see for yourself.
The only thing I want to say right away, ironicly at the end of this journal entry, is that if you find you like something I've done or feel you can improve upon it don't repost my art anywhere and don't alter any of my peices and then repost them. I realize most people aren't here to do that, but I also realize some people do, do that.
Please realize that I'm not trying to insult anybody, I'm just leery about finally posting my art here because it does feel different than DA in a way to me and me posting here makes me feel like I'm in a new place despite the fact that I've been faving pictures like crazy for the last year on my "adult account."
