I'm actually supposed to get up and move around every hour or so to prevent Deep Vein Thrombosis, but I am resting as much as I can for each of those hours!

In the last 2 years, I had a few gallstones episodes apparently, perhaps I'm heading there too. I probably should lower my coffee and eat more regularly.

My surgeon said my gallbladder was absolutely full of stones, years worth of buildup! They don't go away either, so you'll probably need surgery at one point. It's not too bad though, I was pretty nervous but the surgery was over and done with before I knew it.

Gallstones are caused by a poor diet most of the time, low fiber, high cholesterol, etc. Best way to avoid them is to eat a diet low in carbs but high in fiber and protein. Coffee can definitely make them worse, and can cause other issues like hypertension. I'd recommend switching to tea.~
