My main monitor is dying... finally?

Special notice:
I have had this monitor since 2007. A right venerable piece of hardware. They simply do not make them like this anymore. It has pulled 12+hour days for most of that time... and it has finally showed an actionable sign that "it is time".
It's first horizontal line of dead or malfunctioning pixels. It did read as a bit dim and unable to display fine color gradients clearly.
I have determined it is not the video card. I already know which monitor I am going to buy. I just hope they have it in stock. The Store I frequent usually supplies IT for a lot of local businesses.
A nice 32-inch to replace this 24-inch. I may have to buy a UBS hub to go with it.
This will be handled by the end of Monday. No rush. Just not waiting much longer now. I really did not want to buy a new monitor even with the lesser signs, largely because it was the last thing my Dad, a master tech, fixed before he died... and I'm cheap.
I just wanted something to post.

Adaptive Sync / FreeSync / GSync is also quite nice to have for gaming.
