Anyone would love to have Garou… It’s a good addition even for the more picky furs I know..!!

I'll admit (selfishly) I'd always hoped you would retain ownership of Garou;
you've always been a fun dude to chat with, easygoing, friendly, full of good ideas.
(cos I always thought it would be fun to collab on commission of our OCs together)

But ultimately, the most important thing is to take care of yourself and fulfill your basic needs.
Would you still feel the same sense of ennui about Garou if your life's circumstances were significantly better?

It's chomplicated. I do love him, but the memories were soured a few months ago. I wouldn't describe my feelings of him as ennui so much as bittersweet. I'd love to keep comm'ing art but with how uncertain the future is and knowing that people I care about dislike me cause of the stuff that soured my memories of him it remains to be seen if a come back could ever happen seeing as there is too much damage already done. even thinking I had reconciled with the person wasn't enough.

Yeah that sounds pretty tough... I figure that characters, in a way, have their own histories and include relationships as part of their fictional life's stories, both good and bad.
Often enough, time is the best healer and more of it needs to pass by before we sense clarify and feel confidence in choosing the path forward.
Garou's a significant part of your presence, so, put in a great deal of thought before making a decision either way. Imagine every possible decision and outcome that you can.
Make a "final" decision but hit pause on taking any concrete action - then a week later, or even a month later, do you still feel the exact same way or not? That might be a good barometer to go by.

It's complicated. Tha'ts all I can say. Even reconciling wasn't enough considering the damage is done. I'm gonna just say I'm reayd to move on from the internet and just be forgotten and leave it at that.
