Hi guys!
I admit I am struggling with myself.
When I joined my fandom I knew who I was, what I was and what I wanted. I am Tyr the big strong dire wolf. 🐺
I saw from everyone that he had a lot of original characters. I promised myself that I would be Tyr and nothing else.
But since then I have discovered many beautiful and interesting species. I also like many other animals.
I'm not sure. I wondered if I should create some original characters for Tyr.
I really like the felkin, the grakoit, griffins, foxes, and many more.
At first I planned to do race challenges like this as a joke. And draw Tyre as a variety of animals.
It would be fun and good exercise for me. And maybe I'd get rid of the urge to start making lots of characters.
How are you guys doing with all this character stuff? Wondering what other characters I could draw for myself? I don't want to neglect Tyr. After all, he is me.
Sorry for the stupid train of thought. Just wondering how you guys are doing with the fursona and Oc thing. 😅😅😅

My stance on it is that I see nothing wrong with it at all. If you want to explore having other characters to mess with, go for it man!
Sticking with one primary one does certainly make interactions with others easier, since they know who you are, but I’ve always found creating characters to be too much fun to stop.
My decision has been to make a character whenever I feel the desire to. Perhaps I’ll make one I really like, that I will use frequently. Or, perhaps, I will never use them for anything again. Either way, I get enjoyment out of it!
