Thanks. I do feel bad about not commenting, but when the back log is already 30k of art to go through, and growing by the second. Yeah. Though I never seen someone give a crap like that, and if did, I would just unfollow them.

It's rare, but I've heard of a select case once or twice. But yeah... that big of a backlog.. you can't expect people to go out of their day xD

it is kinda funny seeing people complain about not getting comments meanwhile their faves are in the hundreds or higher.

That's one of the reasons I personally don't focus much on pinups and prefer getting art with others at times.

I mean, if I can hardly think of anything to say about something I post in the description, how can I expect others to really have anything to say themselves.

ive heard a few other peoples thoughts and it also boils down to sensitivity, shyness, and response. A lot of people dont like lewd comments on their stuff or at least not directed at their characters so its hard to really say anything when its literally porn. A lot of people are shy and dont feel comfortable leaving comments about stuff unless its something they need to do or have a big reason to. and then a large portion of people dont respond to comments or cant respond due to volume/free time constraints so why bother saying anything if it goes unnoticed or cant be responded to.

I got yelled at and blocked for simply calling a character cute once. I get that they didn't want them to be considered cute, but how the fuck am I supposed to know that? I started commenting considerably less after that.

I often favourite something with the intention of coming back and commenting if my brain is turning to mush with tiredness...either that or because I can't think of anything to say :P

I know i'm too forgetful to pull that off! XD

For me its a mix of things. Alot of it is the artwork and/or its concept is great but a comment would be kind of redundant and boring.

Then there's having to tip toe around words. Not so much with you personally though but some people in my experience get easy triggered even right down to complimenting the character in a piece of porn.

Then there's my time lol which these days is fairly limited as I own and operate a logistics business.

My FA notifications list is over 200k subs I still have to go through and download the stuff I wanna save and favs on pieces I've missed.

Congrats on owning your own business first and foremost.

But yeah I certainly agree on your points. Especially about redundancy and such. Sometimes it's hard to have any words for a particular piece.

I always try to leave a nice comment when I fave, but that's only because I live in the upper-left quadrant of the US, where people "act nice and are nice." If I lived in one of the other three quadrants, I would probably be way more acerbic. =3
