I have been living in a new city after moving from my hometown to get away from the area because of its high crime rate its culture of substance abuse. I was in a recovery program for a few months because of my alcoholism, then decided to leave (which turned into me getting kicked out) after I voiced how I didn't like how the program was ran and felt like me and others were being taken advantage of, and I'm now staying at a homeless shelter for the time being.
