Laika Aged Through Blood. Dear god. This game fucking slaps in so many ways and it doesn't have any reason to go as hard as it does in terms of how high quality it is. The emotional elements of it are easily the most intense I've seen in a game period so far, actively making me cry at multiple points.

A metroidvania on a motorbike? That's wacky. Add a nuanced and emotionally driven story on top of that? That's a shit storm waiting to happen, right? FUCK NO. This game balances the obsurdity of reloading guns by doing flips with the emotional core of a mother/daughter relationship and generational trauma. And on top of all that, too, a soundtrack that's potent and integrated into the lore of the story with cassettes you can choose to listen to like the Fallout radio?

Please play this game. This is one of the most artistic and creative projects and it performs WONDERS. Laika, coyote mom badass extraordinaire, needs a fucking HUG.
