Eh I ditched Discord ages ago myself so doesn't really impact me. Too many weirdos in servers.

TBH both sides have waaaayyy to many issues.

The pattern is they try to pass a bill that restricts rights or in the UK's case privileges, gets anger and stirs population into being against it, fail the bill, wait half a year or so, pass it quietly anyway.

already read through the whole deal. it kinda comes of as if discord is now just not insta banning you for breaking a rule hard enough.

I read the TOS and the only thing they target art wise is L*li stuff. All I can see is don't interact with anyone under 18 with NSFW stuff

Also, if someone broke the rules with questionable material. That would most likely be manually reported because there are so many servers on discord

From what I read the auto scan is form a automod that only a server owner can implement if they choose to. Plus that, the manual reporting only comes in DM's nothing else. So ALL fictional content is safe.

So, from what I understand out of the literal sea of panic coming out of the myriads of children that seem to do anything but panic and spread falsehoods.. It's literal normalcy.

It's the norm for this sort of thing online: If a user reports a server or otherwise, the report and the moderators review both and check if they need to do their job for once their godforsaken lives. That's it... literally.

You are panicking over nothing again, as per usual.
This kind of anxieties and stress will do You a lot of harm in the end, I've already told You this before.





That said

From a personal point of view, the entire platform is already entirely infested by scammers, phishers and hackers.
None of this honestly matters and, worse still, it's a miracle and a half to see the fucking moderation do their job on the norm, anyways.
Even if Discord has gambling servers and the rest of Your usual garden variety internet horrors, the vast majority of them will never be reported.

If anything, their latest new updates achieved a fuck and a half, completely breaking BetterDiscord and it's themes\plugins...
