I've been reading Sangheili fan fics for a long time now, whenever I can find them. I am usually very picky with them and tend to favour realistic and lore accurate depictions of Halo and Sangheili. A couple months ago, I came across a story called 'Don't Go Where I Can't Find You', and it is so well written, that it is at least 10x better than any piece of official Halo literature. Okay, there's no hardcore sex (yet) or fattening up or whatever, but honestly, reading this story gave me a feeling of like 'what's gonna happen next?' and 'wow this is very interesting', kind of like that time I read the Hunger Games books at high school.

The fanfic kind of requires a prior basic knowledge of the Halo lore, and it's set after Halo 5. The main character is a human and the Sangheili don't appear until later in the beginning in the story. I highly recommend reading this story.
