What's wrong with Bluesky?

It's yet another surveillance capitalist site.

With places like that, if it doesn't cost something, you pay by them taking your data and selling it to others or using it to manipulate you. Bluesky was started bt a couple of the guys that started twatter, and it's just a variation on the same old theme.

I consider FA to be a type of social media site, but they're not as evil, and they have things that the corporate social media sites don't have. FA is really more of a labor of love.

I agree with that

It's certainly made clear by how much of a shoestring project this is, and how nobody is getting rich on it.
