Twitter Suspended
In the wake of my hiatus, I got an email last night from Twitter informing me my account was suspended due to "violating their terms of evading suspension." I tried to appeal the suspension, but from what I've read from others who experienced the same issue, it's unlikely I'll be getting my account back. This is most likely due to a glitch with the shadow ban process as I did recently change my display name, but nevertheless, it's unlikely a human will review my case and my account may end up being permanently suspended. I'm unsure where I can even go when I return from my hiatus.
I've heard people mention Mastodon or Telegram, but I don't think that these sites have nearly as much of a reach as Twitter does. Additionally, their stigmas for housing alt-right extremist groups also works to keep people away.
BlueSky is invite-only and I've been on their waitlist for over 8 months. Additionally, I've heard people vent about feeling like BlueSky's exclusivity thanks to codes has made it impossible to follow people who move there. And I get it. Who wants to bookmark every artist they'd otherwise follow on the site if they could just get an account?
I do have an Itaku account but sadly most people didn't adopt the site and it's often just become more of a personal portfolio than a place where you can get traction and attract a wider audience.
My best options aside from here and Twitter have been fetish Discord servers where I promote my content when it's posted onto these sites, but even then, that's still a limited range and subject to the scrutiny of admins who many not like my particular brand of content. And sadly, sfw drawing just doesn't have any appeal to me anymore. I did it for a long time and just felt less fulfilled producing it than I did drawing nsfw stuff like the things I draw.

That's so upsetting!! I share your sentiment, and I'm basically just waiting till it's my turn as well, it's so sad to know art communities are scattering... I wish you much luck!! And I saw you already got a bsky invite so I'd love to follow you there as well

It really is... Hopefully we'll find some way to all stay connected. Thank you so much for the well-wishes and following me! ^^
