The Future of My Art (IMPORTANT!)

It's been a minute since I've posted, I'm sorry for that! I've been trying to figure out just what to say here, as I have what feels like a pretty big announcement!
I have a full time job now!
For the foreseeable future, I will no longer be operating as a full time artist. I love art, I love drawing, I love taking commissions. But if I were to make a steady comfortable living as an artist I'd have to be charging twice the amount that I currently am, and taking on twice the amount work that I'm taking on. It is currently not feasible for me unfortunately but I deeply enjoyed it while I did!
I've laid out some questions and their answers but please feel free to ask me any questions you have.
Will you still take commissions?
I may, in the future, do occasional small batches, one shots, or YCHs! Any commissions I open will likely be posted on my telegram channel (t.me/alterkittenupdates ), so that's the best place to keep an eye out!
What is the future of your patreon?
Since I am not consistently posting art for the time being, I will be closing my patreon at the end of the month. If you want to throw a tip or support at me for any reason, it will be done through Ko-fi from now on! (Ko-fi.com/AlterKitten )
If I get deeply involved in the world building I want to do, there's a chance I may bring my patreon back!
What are you doing from now on in terms of art?
I will be working on personal projects from now on. I've been wanting to world build and do more art for myself and the people I care about! I now have the chance to do that (when I have down time).
I will be uploading my works that are currently backlogged for public posting and then.. having everything public in the future!
There are a few commissions that have sat in the back burner that I'll get to complete now, and I'll get to work on some art trades I've been wanting to do :3
Thank you all SO MUCH for your support over the years. It's been an absolute pleasure to get to create for all of you!!! I have made a lot of good friends and good memories over the years and I hope to still be around (and have you all around) to create more. I really wouldn't be here without the support of all my patrons, commissioners, friends, and fellow artists. You all have been such a huge part of my life and I won't forget it 💖
