Regarding Koazy…

Okay so since you guys can’t help yourselves, I’m going to speak up.
I absolutely hate it when people try to take oc’s and use it for roleplay and the like without the owner’s permission. Myself included. Although, honestly I might not have cared if I was just asked to have my oc used. So long as proper credit was given. However, that is not the case. it’s come to my attention that he’s being used by a variety of people and not one person has even tried looking for my consent in the matter.
“But it’s just a drawing I found on the internet, it’s doesn’t mean anything”
Oh yeah? It is a drawing I paid for with my money. A character I paid for with my money. You have no right to use either. You didn’t lend even a single cent in any of it.
Koazy is not co-owned or anything either, I am his sole owner and will remain as such. It breaks my heart to see this and have both friends and strangers tell me that someone is claiming my character as theirs or using them for some roleplay with kinks I do not consent to having my sona involved with.
I’ve contemplated time and time again on if I even want to keep sharing the art I get of him. As of right now I can confidently say that I will continue doing such because I want people to see and enjoy what I commission.
Now, will this post stop people? It more than likely will not. I’m sure a lot of you won’t even be aware this post exist, He will probably continue to be stolen again and again and I do not have time to deal with every person using him. All I ask, for those of you want want to use him or whatever, that you at the very least CREDIT ME. State somewhere that the character is not yours and who he really belongs to.
Or better yet, ask me directly. My Notes are open if you want to ask to use him. Tell me what you want to use him for and I just might agree. It’s not that hard and the worst I can say is no.
Lastly, If you see anyone using my character that is not any of the following then do know that is NOT ME and they do NOT own Koazy.

I’m definitely starting shit if someone tries to buy art of any of my characters with some random person. I am so sorry that happened to you and that you felt the need to abandon an oc all because someone wouldn’t leave it alone.
Some people are so crazy…Oh I hope the situation will change for the better way.
I had to do that with one of my characters years ago, before I sold her because I kept finding profiles of her on flist. 😒 Watermarking seemed to stop or at least largely slow the profiles with stolen art.
