Capping off my first story and audience participation

Hello, I am making a journal post on FA!
I made this account for what I'm guessing are obvious reasons. One of the things I want to try to keep to here is the idea that the stories and commissions that my sona makes an appearance in effect his cannonical, permanent weight. If I have any self-control and/or are a prude I can definitely keep him mobile, even normal. Maybe the events of my first story have already given a fair insight into my level of self control, though... >_>
So for transparency, I already sorta had the idea for that story bouncing around in my head before I made this account and the plan from the start was for it to end with my sona finding a way back to mobility - though of course packing a lot more chub than at first. Now if I was to exercise that self control, I would get on with it and complete it (which I will do when I have time). However, the reception for what I've written already has been pretty neat and I actually have a few followers to my surprise, enough so that a few people may even read this, so why not have some audience participation?
I'm going to leave the question open for whoever is reading this journal, then: should I stick to the original plan and have the dhole escape with his mobility and start off my cannonical weight with a more reasonable ramp up? Or should I accept that there's no way out of this predicament for my sona and doom myself to being an immobile 14 ton blob at minimum forever? If there's particular support for either option in these comments then I'll go with that...

But it's your sona and series! My advice is to have fun, experiment with different things, and don't feel you have to lock in to any one path!
