Dang! I hope she'll make a full recovery. My husband had a stroke a while back and we were fortunate that his doctor brother recognized the signs and told us to go to the ER immediately. We were also fortunate it was a TIA. We spent that Thanksgiving in the hospital. He made a nearly-full recovery.

Ouch! A stroke is never fun; that's ultimately what rid the world of Dick Clark. I'll be praying for her.

Make sure that during her recovery, she is told that she can still do things. Don't make it seem like she isn't capable of doing things any more. Stroke victims need encouragement.
