My dad died yesterday.

It was rather sudden, he was at dialysis, started to feel bad and was sent to the Hospital.
He coded there and died fairly quickly, apparently from covid.
Now, my relationship with him wasn't exactly loving, but with my mother having died 3 years ago, now both my parents are dead and I barely cleared 40.
Additionally, now the paperwork, errands and funeral costs are coming up.
So I'm fairly beaten at this point.
I would take more commissions, but I'm already having quite a heavy load since I just recently took on a whole bunch to pay for our heating oil bill, so I can't really afford to take on more.
I won't like ask for donations or make a gofundme, but you can choose to subscribe to my Patreon for a month or two, I won't blame you if you don't stay long, or send some shinies along the way.
If you're willing to wait for your turn and don't mind paying right away I won't mind taking on more commissions, with the knowledge that, well, you have to wait.

I've lost a family member to covid and kidney failure last Friday, so I feel for you :(
If I was in a better position myself I would send more than my heartfelt support, especially since I've always wanted something from you and time wouldn't be an issue. I really hope you the best and support from your friends.
Ich bin ja auch seit letzten Dezember ganz allein, nur noch Verwandte Väterlicherseits sind noch da. Zumindest hab ich mit denen ein gutes Verhältnis, aber die wohnen so Elend weit weg, und ich bin sehr schlecht darin, Kontakt zu halten.
Na egal, alles Gute, halt dich Aufrecht, das wird irgendwie! Auch wenn die Rechnungen für die Beerdigung und alles, Weh tun werden. *Knuddel*

Keep at it, refelct back on it in a few months once you get the logisitics handled. It's harsh and cold, but needed to get the things done that have to be done now.
