Midwest FurFest was my first large furry convention, and was it a blast! I had a great time there, hanging out with friends and walking the con floor and shopping.
The trip did involve a 6 hour round trip on the road, which was fun and fine, and I'm glad to have made it. The whole convention and trip was just what the doctored ordered, I feel - though I'm still exhausted and working on resting up, it was a lot of fun and I hope to do it again sometime.
That being said, it is another delay after September/October/November's schedule and illness mishaps that caused me to fall behind on the art I owe. I got a cold mid-november that sapped my energy, aggravated anxiety, and caused a mess of things while I tried to haul tail on finishing my fursuit for the convention. Given that CornDog's fursuit had a deadline I prioritized it, which put other projects on the back burner.
If you are waiting on art from me, I apologize for the delay. I will start working on drawings again this month, especially now that I don't have any other large-scale projects looming over my head that isn't drawing-based.
Pictures I took at the convention I will try and make presentable and post to my Cohost - Hopefully I didn't mess up the settings on my camera too badly to make them unpresentable! If anyone finds pictures of CornDog, please send them my way; I know that's like asking for a needle in a haystack, but it would be cool to see any.
As always, take care of yourselves, and hope you have a good day!
