First Journal - Fundraiser
All right. This here is my first-ever journal entry, and I wanted to make it worth something, so here it is.
Whether you faved one of the pics in my gallery or whatever, I wanted to share this because it involves a friend of mine, Damngirlyoudasexy.
 Damngirlyoudasexy.
Recently, their family has gone through a heavy loss which has also affected their income stream, which means it makes their college education and their family's living situation rather precarious. Now, as of yesterday, I've been spreading around a GoFundMe (not started by me, but that was shared with me), which I will now share here.

I implore any of you who read this to do the following:
1) Copy this journal and the link and share it on your journals so that others can see it, asking that you give them the same instructions as I am to maximize the saturation of this fundraiser for my friend's sake.
2) OPTIONAL: Please donate whatever you think reflects how much you want to give back around the holiday season. While every little bit does help, it would help a lot if you could afford to shell out more to help Damngirlyoudasexy out.
 Damngirlyoudasexy out.
On a final note, please remember that in this polarizing times, we need to demonstrate our inner strength as humans by appealing to our better nature of helping those with very little and/or are struggling to make ends meet in order to make a better living of themselves.
That fundraiser won't give you much on who they are, but here is what you need to know about the person you'd be helping.
- They are a proud Civil War amateur historian who believes in drawing forth the human elements of military combat, focusing on the ones who fought and died for the causes that they believed in, regardless of who fought for which side and when
- They come from very humble origins with not much to be thankful for except for the friends and few family that they feel grateful to have known
- They want to make it possible to get a degree in order to help improve on their situation, and perhaps inspire their own family to follow their example
- They are one of the most Christian people I have ever known, and that is a good thing. Despite the struggles and emotional stumbles, they have drawn heavily on the Lord's good inner strength to push them through, even when things got hard and also dealing with a lot of personal tribulations which I will not go into here.
So please... before you consider one cause to be less worthy than some, remember that EVERYONE matters and deserves to be given a chance to reach their goals. By helping others, we help ourselves find the strength to become better than we ever thought possible.
Thank you, and Godspeed.
