A Day Late! 12/12/23 Update!
Hello, furry friends! I'm sorry I missed my post yesterday, I was helping out a friend who was in trouble, and it slipped my mind.
Writing is going... all right. I've had a bit of writer's block the past few days, but I'm confident I'll get back on track soon. I might need to take a break from the one story I'm writing and start something else, though.
I've written a new Axel and Isaac, but I'm not thrilled with how it ends. Fortunately, this was the point of giving myself more time to write; so I can really make stories I'm happy with before I post them.
I've also got a new short story series in the works, but I'm stuck on it for now. Rather than spending a bunch of time writing something I'm not fully happy with, I'll put it on the back burner until I can be confident in it again. As a brief synopsis, this one is about a young high school graduate, Cypress (Cy) who gets sent to work on his dad's friend's farm for the summer before he goes off to college. There, he meets the farmer Leonard (Leo), and his young farmhand Joseph (Joe). They start to teach him about the homestead, and the two grow closer to Cy as they spend more time together. It's got tons of potential, I think, and I want to write it, I just got stuck and don't know where to go from where I'm at. It'll come to me; Probably at 3:00 AM when I'm drifting off to sleep, but it'll come to me.
As always, your kind words and comments are appreciated. Have a great week, and I'll see you next Monday!

I'm glad you're finding your way forward. Take your time writing stuff you can be proud of. Sounds like you might be planning your first poly series with Cy? Sounds like a really fun time!

Ack, I'm late getting to this to reply. I'm debating whether or not the new series will be poly or not. I'm not sure, since Nate and David recently went poly. I hate to repeat themes, but honestly... they're my stories, so I can do what I want! Hehe. Hopefully I can make something fun and exciting out of it. Look for more in January!

Either way, I'm sure it'll be good. There can always be more poly stories. Can I ask what species you have in mind for the three guys, just curious?

Sure! Leo is a lion (cliche name, I know, but I couldn't think of anything that fit better, he just NEEDED to be a lion, and the name stuck), Joe is a bull, and Cy is a border collie. Maybe I'll write up character references for them, and post that as a teaser. It'd also give y'all some insight as to how I write, which might be interesting too!
