Since dropping out of art uni in order to leave an emotionally abusive living situation, I have really struggled to feel confident in my art. For almost a year I was unable to even show my partner anything I made without feeling physically sick, and when my health continued to rapidly decline I stopped making things altogether. I seriously fell out of love with art and felt completely directionless for a while.

Thankfully, through my partner’s support and encouragement (and two heart procedures) I tentatively posted my first piece on here. I was very very nervous (even though I thought no one would see it), only to be completely overwhelmed by all the lovely comments and interactions— which spurred me on to post more and more. When my adopts started selling and all my accounts grew more, I felt so validated and all I could think about in between work and studying was making more art.

So, yeah. I just wanted to thank everyone who has interacted with my work, left a lovely comment or bought an adopt. You’ve seriously given me a new drive in art and life. I had never really given much thought about the furry community until I made this account at the suggestion of a friend, but since joining on here it has completely taken over my life (in a good way!)
