It has been a crazy few months getting used to school, work, and living in a new town. The US election is coming up and the stress is hard to cope with. I'm ready for holiday break. I'll be off of school and work for the next two weeks. I got a copy of Starfox Adventures (with the full color manual holy %$*@) from my girlfriend for my birthday... I'm going to be doing a lot of playing that and relaxing. I'm hoping to take a few photos while I'm at it. This is a busy time of year for me. Christmas, New Year, and quite a few family and friend birthdays (including my own) happen in the next two weeks. I'm going to be a busy critter! I'm hoping it will be a relaxing kind of busy; seeing friends and family and playing retro games with my favorite person (even though retro means my childhood games these days and that makes me feel old)... I can't wait.

I'm hoping to have a huge batch of photos to upload (hopefully with some snowy ones) in the next few weeks.

We had a friend visiting the last few days who is interested in getting into photography. I felt such pride welling inside of me when we went out on a little excursion. I let him use my camera and a very patient bald eagle let him get dozens of photos. I was spotting with binoculars instead of taking photos which was SO nice.

I just wanted to leave a little memo before I'm inactive for a little while. Thank you to everyone who keeps up with my photos. I love the fandom. It has consistently been a great (and safe) place for me to express myself.
