No, not for the new year lewd, that one is chosen as per the previous journal. It's gonna be a character I never done before but then.. I think I only drew two dragons in my life and they were both in the same pic lol.
So here's the thing. Been drawing for.. good grief... 35ish years now, and been playing videogames for almost as long, but curiously enough I've never actually played lewd games until recently. Of late I've been enjoying those and actually been surprised with the quality of them, some of that stuff actually has more thought and care put into not only the lewd scenes but also the writing and the mechanics. Why I recently got into them is also a funny story. On occasion I browse the apple store on my phone and download a bunch of gacha games to try them out. I enjoy playing idle games and while most I give a try and end up deleting because they don't pass the muster, some I do keep playing. One of those games seemed pretty standard, isekai plot, build a village, recruit villagers, seemed like an idle gacha with a building twist to it. I download it without much thought to it and... I'm greeted by the most scantily clad animal-girls with the most generous proportions and.. heck, everything-girls (so far I've seen goblins, kemono, scarecrow, plant, book and who know what else-girls) wanting to be my... family is the term they put there
I mean it's not 18+, apple doesn't allow that on the stores I think but damn they thread the line with the ecchi there. What surprised me tho was actually the quality of not only the artwork (and variety of it, like I said I've seen all sorts of fantasy characters including full out anthros, undeads, personifications of concepts or objects) but also the writing and mechanics (like while you do actually fight, when you do is actually in self-defence and it happens rarely, most of the time the conflict takes the form of negotiations which is what your character is good at).
All that long spiel to ask this. Gimme your lewd game suggestions, doesn't necessarily need to have anthros or kemonos there, but which ones do you like, which ones do you think are fun and/ or high quality and so on. I'm talking PC here, not mobile, and if they're on steam the better.
On that note, that Ratchet and Clank game with Rivet is on sale on steam, I oughta take advantage of that!

(Seriously tho, as far as sonic characters go, I enjoy Tangle's design more than most. She's up there with Rouge, Vanilla and Wave for me. That said I already have the goal for the next two lewds set in mind. It's not that it's off the menu, but not for the immediate future.

How much gameplay do you want in your smut game? And what's your tolerance for non-consensual smut? (Relevant because Evenicle, for instance, is a surprisingly good 60-hour RPG, but there's a lot of rape in it. Usually when you try to save someone else but you're too late.)

There are some puzzle games with lewds. HuniePop and Slime Girl Smoothies are fun.
All of these are on Steam.
My only beef with these sort of games is that sometimes they tie the lewd scenes (or at least the sex scenes) to game over states. The purpose then becomes avoiding those scenes which puts it at odds with the genre. It's a great game tho.
Rape is.. well.. guess it would depend on context and depiction. Most monster or tentacle stuff ends up on that category but since the situation is so distanced from reality it doesn't phase me much. Between humans tho it gets more icky and the more realistic it gets (imagine realistic drawing styles as opposed to more stylized aesthetics like manga) the less I like it.
I guess what turns me off is the humiliation aspect of it. I don't like seeing characters being humiliated which is why I don't like NTR or forced bondage.
A good example is one of the games I got. Peeping Dorm Manager actually has a good gameplay loop to it, and it's pretty fucked up. One thing I appreciate is that they make it clear from the beginning that you're not playing with a good guy. Your character has the biggest shit-eating grin I've seen and everything you do in the game starts fucked up and it only gets worse. The game doesn't defend or rationalize the protagonist, there's no childhood trauma to justify it or anything. Dood doesn't give a damn about the lives he destroys in the process. I went pretty far into the game (like I said it had a pretty good gameplay loop) but ended up uninstalling it before finishing 'cause I pretty much had the gist of it and saw where it was going. Again that one was fucked up.
I enjoy the more silly ones I guess. I got The Arrogant Kaiju princess 2 (which is a VN with gameplay tied to it, like you have action points that you spend in training, doing chores and so on), Daily life with my Succubus boss (similar gameplay style and I appreciate that the lewd event that starts these games acts as a motivator for the character to improve himself and work on his relationship).
Also got two card games, Lewd Gym (which has the silly precept of this gym of fantasy/ monster/ furry girls will increase your fitness by edging you and you mustn't cum for 7 days to increase testosterone levels and improve muscle mass), and Take me to the Dungeon (which has a more in depth and complex card system, think Slay the Spire).
Finally I got Cloud Meadow, which is a lewd Stardew Valley like with GORGEOUS pixel graphics and a world populated by all kinds of anthropomorphic characters and fantasy races. Besides the villagers (including a sexy border collie that greets you at the beginning and a huge, beefy sharkman), you also breed monsters with.. yourself and it actually gives a reason to in game lol (and in context it actually makes sense). You can be male or female and you can pick what lewd aspects you want in it (straight only, male/male, female/male).
It's still in early access but looks great so far.

I've gotten a couple VN's so far and they've both been silly and fun so far (which is just how I like it). Kaiju Princess (the 2nd one) and Daily Life with my Succubus Boss.
Also got a couple platformers, 2 card games and a Stardew-like one. The Stardew one shows a lot of promise tho it's in early-access still. It has a fuckton of monster/ fantasy/ furry races and although you can only play as a human, you pick whether male or female and you pick what aspects you want (like hetero, male/ male, female/female). If that dev keeps at it, it's worth keeping an eye on (well if you like farming sims anyway)
