Confusing State of Commission

I'm unsure of whether or not I would be able to do commissions. I believe I would, but I'm not sure on the effects it would have on my psyche. I'd love to have people be happy with the art I make, but don't know what a reasonable fee for my art is, or even if they'd be willing to pay. I don't have an audience, either. I just want to make people happy with my art. Maybe someday commissions will be that avenue.
