HAPPY HOLIDAYS, EVERYONE!

It's finally Christmas holiday until January 8th! I'm visiting my parents 'till New Year and getting really bored as I don't have much to do here. Drawing has been difficult since I'm not motivated enough to make anything better than some sketches on paper maybe and our computer is so shitty there's no way you could make anything with it other than write something as I'm doing right now.

Guess I need a little break, huh? Afterall, I've been making art a lot since my school began. I've more ideas what to draw than my energy can keep up. 😅

This year has been quite something! Despite all the bad stuff happening in the world, my own life has been better than it's been in ages. I was finally able to move on in many ways - move out, start studying something I'm truly interested in, go to places more often (thanks to my financial situation after selling my apartment) and just...LIVE. I also made new acquaintances, even friends and really wish to meet you guys IRL at some point. I've been quite happy!

Sure there's been downsides along the way too, nothing's ever perfect. My break up from last year has been shadowing my mind quite a lot and I've been very angry at myself about a lot of things I can't fix but trying my hardest to let go. It's a very lonely place to be when you're fighting your own demons and eventually become one yourself. But I take it as a sign of change - hopefully for the better.

Luckily I've my passion project and characters that keep me somewhat sane (and my closest friends too). I know how disappointing it might be for my followers when you suddenly start drawing way different subjects, but unfortunately I must say I've been feeling very distant from furry fandom lately. I still enjoy drawing furry & animal art but I feel like I need something different at this point. I know human art is not very popular here on FA but overall there's been less and less interaction with art it's really sad to see (actually this 'problem' is not only limited to FA, it's everywhere).

But hopefully some people get to enjoy my new art even if it's not anthros or ferals but humanoid OCs - I'm really thriving as I get to see my own skills improve when drawing something I'm not used to! I hardly could see any progress when I only drew animal characters. Also thanks to my school I've learned something new and useful and it makes me want to achieve things I've always dreamed of. It's gonna take a lot of work but I hope I can make it!
