So I've been taking some music composition classes for a while now, gaining some much-needed experience in writing music. While I was writing a fugue for my composition teacher, I thought 'what if I wrote songs for people, like artists do with commissions and stuff'? The more I thought about it, the cooler it would sound. I asked a couple friends of mine, and they said it sounded neat, but I'd like to hear from a lot more people than that.

So, I ask you. Would you be willing to pay me to write a song for you? I mean, I would write a song at the request of one person. Tell me what kind of song you would want, and I would write it. The price would vary based on length, number of instruments I use, and a couple other unknown factors that I'm still thinking about. It'd be like getting a commission from a regular FA artist, except that you'd get a song instead of a drawing.

I'm still thinking about how it would all work and whether it would be a good idea or not. Plus, I need a LOT more experience in songwriting before I seriously consider doing something like this. But, would you want me to do something like this for you? I'd feel better if people actually like the idea before I go through with it.

Also, I have been writing a couple other songs in Finale. When I finish them, I'll post them on FA for all to see. I guess you can think of them as demos...I guess.
