2023 coming to a close as been a good thing. Things have been kind of rough for me for the last year. A few heartbreaks, some legal issues, a therapist leaving practice, a lot has kind of happened.

Though not everything was terrible. I went to visit two friends for their wedding down south and it was probably one of the happiest experiences of my adult life. It sort of gave me a bit of hope to escape the confines of where I’m from and really start a life anew somewhere else. There isn’t much of a future for my generation where I’m from and the area I had my eyes on would pay me more for my industry and rent is a fraction of the price. So it’s something to very much look forward to!

I’ve made a few New Year’s resolutions which may kind of seem like a lot but some of them are just getting back on the horse that I fell off of when so many things hit at once. I want to get back to cooking more at home and go back to my daily walks. Even in the cold weather for a long time I’d walk three miles a day. A mile in the morning, a mile during my lunch break at work, then a mile at home. It really did help and also cooking at home also saved a lot of money.

My other resolution might be kind of sad for you guys though. I kind of plan to stop buying commissions almost entirely. I’d still have some Patreon stuff to post when it comes in but I really do kind of want to commit to trying to get away from the place I’m from.

So you probably won’t see me posting as much anymore as old commissions start to dry up. I’ll still be around though, you can always talk to me on discord if you’d like. You can send me a note for it if you’d want to chat sometime.

With a new year comes a new us. I’m trying to be better to myself so I can press towards the future. I hope all of you have a wonderful new year. Remember there’s always a pink catboy that loves you all.
