Finding My Audience
As the new year is upon us one of my most prominent goals for my writing is to expand into creating a Patreon page so folks can support me in small increments, and releasing some eBooks by year's end. But in the meantime my current writing projects involve tidying up my commission queue (thank you for your graciousness in contributing to my having one), remastering old stories, and writing numerous originals, all in an effort to show the full spectrum of my capabilities. In essence I want to be known as an adult fiction writer. Someone who writes high erotica, sexual content, romance, and slice of life stories. Someone who brings about visibility and tackles difficult topics with empathy and respect. I'm here for pretty much any and all 18+ content. So, for now, my work is juggling commissions while expanding my portfolio. I expect my remasters to be complete by year's end so I can focus on the next leg of my career.
In the meantime, it's hard work remaining focused while worrying over things such as exposure, social media, and spreading the word to the masses upon masses of deaf ears. Writing isn't tangibly visible. I can't post a picture of my writing to get hundreds or thousands of likes, because I am not a visual artist. I'm also not popular enough yet to put something out there for so many people to see. I have come up with a few ways to promote myself, but it takes away from time spent actually writing.
To that end, a favor to ask of my fledgling audience. If you enjoy my work, or at least appreciate my way with words, please consider spreading the word. Share my stories with your friends. Let them see and share as well. Let me know if I've resonated with you, if I've made you feel seen, if I have brightened your day. That's the motivation that keeps me going.
I'll keep putting the pen on the paper, and I thank you for sharing this new wave with me.
Cheers 🌈💫
