this thing was a sort of legend. like the mutanimals cartoon, i just watched it. it had potential, the designs were very faithful to sakai's work, as much as cartoon allows.

maybe the lack of connection with tmnt caused its cancellation. but still. enjoyable as another piece of found lost media. thanks for sharing :)

I remember reading the TMNT issue where they killed off the Mutanimals. Their scheme to have people remember them worked.

yeah....kill off the mutanimals was a colossal mistake. it was more a case of WE ARCHIE COMICS HATE YOU, CREATOR OF CHARACTERS, SO, WORK OUR WAY OR GET BENT. the only thing it achieved ws make people lost interest on their tmnt books. which led to archie comics losing the rights...so...yeah, killing the mutanimals basically killed archie comics tmnt line of books altogether.

and sadly, there are too many legal issues that keep the riginal guys to be brought back, idw created their mutanimals, but...oh surprise, they killed them all too...well, it's idw tmnt books, all they love to do there is kill off characters over and over in the name of cheap gore porn (yes, i hate idw tmnt books) lol.

Not really. The writers wrote it that way so fans would remember the characters since their spinoff didn’t pan out.
