A writer writes--always

I got into this fandom as a writer--a fan fiction writer, but a writer none-the-less (nobody's perfect). I was cranking stuff out left and right up until around 2004 when I finished my second "book" and my data feed for the toon world dried up. I haven't written anything official since.
I didn't realize how much I missed writing until just the other day when I got a new data feed burst on, of all boring things, improvements to the science lab division at the company Andy Fox works at. I don't plan to bore anyone by releasing it though--no matter how well written it might be. It's purely scene description with no dialog, but it really feels good to WRITE something again.
Bonus points if you get the reference for the title of this journal.

Alas, the writer's block is getting in the way.
Anyhow, have fun with your gift for the crafting of words. For they truly are powerful portals to whole new worlds.
