Today I logged into this account for the first time in over a decade, just to see what'd happened to all the friends I used to follow.

So many people have vanished. Everybody moves on eventually, I guess. I know I did.

In short, my tastes changed. A few friendships I made here grew toxic and even predatory. It only took a few creepers to turn the experience sour.

So I stepped away from FA for a while. I'm still drawing and have grown quite a lot, but I don't have any drive to return to this account.

Still, I'm getting faves and watches after twelve years away. That's lovely and surprising - looking back on my art of a decade ago, it's pretty messy and simplistic! But I'm glad people still enjoy it.

If we were friends or art buddies twelve years ago, sorry for vanishing. I hope you're all well. Maybe I'll catch you around some day.
