That first paragraph sounds straight out of The Onion, with that "Animal Services" line.

If this isn't an unsubtle parody, then this guy is completely cracked in the bulb. If he's getting publicity for spouting crazy bullshit? Then he'll be out of what power he has soon enough, knock on wood.

In the US, we're largely in the shape we're in because people prefer folks who'll stomp on anyone different than actually do something to help everyone.
